Salinas, CA. Sept 2007 – Persistence, hard work, and a high class demeanor is what brought Central Coast Aviation Services, Inc., to be the No. 1 FBO, on AirNav.com, after just 4 years in the industry.

“It is a proud accomplishment,” Gary Vincenz, Owner, said. “I have always told my crew, ‘we do not sell fuel, we sell customer service.’”

AirNav.com, a website created for pilots to select FBO services while traveling in the nation, ranks FBOs by the number of comments received.  Central Coast Aviation has risen to the top with a total of 84 positive comments.  “I have never seen any FBO reach over 80 comments,” Paulo Santos, Principal of AirNav, said.

Pilots that fly into Central Coast Aviation are often asked how they heard about the FBO.  Many responses given are because of AirNav.  Pilots have said, after locating Central Coast Aviation on AirNav.com and reading the positive comments, they had to give it a try.

Gary Vincenz, founded Central Coast Aviation four years ago, after retiring as a Delta Airline pilot.  Central Coast Aviation Services, also known as CCAS, is located in Salinas, gateway to the Monterey Peninsula.  CCAS is an AVfuel dealer, offers Hertz rental cars onsite, has hotel arrangements, and offers fuel at a discounted price.

Other commodities include, a complementary limousine service, a free bottle of wine for every 100 gallons of fuel purchased, and hanger space upon request.
